Welcome to the Faculty of Engineering & Technology at AKS University..
We are located on the holy land of Vindhyas surrounded by religious – historical places and industrial hub of the nation. The entire Satna is sitting over millions of tonnes of limestone and this has attracted investment in Cement manufacturing. Surrounded by Coal mining activities of Singrauli, Shahdol and the only known Diamond reserves of the country with operating mine of NMDC Ltd at Panna, the entire focus of the faculty has been on new technologies and implementing NEP 2020 for sustainable development.
We are proud to provide all of our students with an outstanding education that equips them with the skills, experience, and confidence required for making Aatmanirbhar Bharat. We promote Culture of Excellence including the culture of Interdisciplinary, Research, Creativity, Innovations, and Entrepreneurship on various Cutting-Edge Technologies.
Apart from teaching state-of-the-art technolgies our commitment to extend Student-centric, Research-centric, and value added skills.All our students will have a transformative education, learn to be independent critical thinkers, be societally and ethically responsible, and to have a broad understanding of the world.
Our thrust has been to have engineers having field oriented exposures apart from class room teachings. For the first time the faculty has started graduate level progam in Cement Technology so as to meet the qualified engineers required for cement industries. The other branches of engineering like Computer Science-IT and Mining Engineering have been built on the foundation of Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering and on a strong Basic Science exposure. Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering faculty members have a greater role in our teaching to make engineering problems solved with ease and application of practical solutions.
In line with the NEP 2020, emphasis in last few years has been on computer assisted teaching, with use of AI/ML, tools. With regular industry academia meet, alumni meet, holding guest lectures, organising national/international conference both in=campus and off-campus we are making students and faculty members to come closer to the new developments.
Our Engineering programs are designed based on NEP 2020/UGC/AICTE norms and Guidelines having multidisciplinary character with involvement of regulators, industry, research institutions etc
